Its my first day back in the Backspace in a couple of weeks. Mostly because I've been doing this little pop-up art gallery for last two weeks. However, I did get some painting done while I was sitting in the gallery so that was cool.
Lets see where with left off with our vinyl collection....
Ted Nugent
Cat Scratch Fever
1977
Epic
I really need to clean this space up before I do anything. Its like a Tornado. And today I am making a dress!
Okay so I just need to check and see If I scratched my Eisley record. So, I'm going to listen to this first. lol I love this album. Okay, we're cleaning.

The studio is clean! I've listened to side one of Cat Scratch Fever and I like it. Its hard rock but still very catchy. Listening to side 2 and gonna get started on this dress I'm making!

Our first setback. I decided to look up a tutorial and the first thing they said was to wash the materical first to avoid any shrinkage. And that makes sense. So I put all my material that I plan to make clothing with in the near future into the wash. What I think I'm going to do is watch this tutorial in full while everything is watching, so that way when I am making the real thing there will be no surprises.

I watched the video, read through all the instructions. Cut the pattern out of the paper, not the fabric. Cut the stabilizer pieces, threaded my bobbin with the right color thread... now I'm just waiting for the fabric to dry. Should be done soon.
In the mean time, Ted Nugent is metal right? Its crazy what metal has evolved into. Because if I didn't know any better, I'd just think it was rock and roll. But I hear a lot of Jimi Hendrix. I guess I never really though of Jimi Hendrix as metal, but I guess he is. With my ahem "developed" ear... I can start to discern the difference.
since thats the second listening I'm going to put on another album.
next one, I think it was mine at some point. When I was about 10 or something like that, my dad hooked up a turntable in my bedroom, but he only game me kids albums to listen to, I can only remember The Smurfs album, but this next album is:
Walt Disney's Merriest Songs
1968
Walt Disney Productions.
